Strides for Scholars
Strides for Scholars is a timed 5K Run, Walk, and Youth Fun Run designed to promote fitness and fellowship among supporters of education and to raise funds to benefit the programs of the Bay Education Foundation. Proceeds benefit Take Stock In Children scholarship and mentoring program for local kids, Grants for Great Ideas (a grant program for classroom teachers), and the Greener Grass Employee Tuition Assistance. Everyone from rocking chair champions to serious competitors are invited to join us on at the corner of 10th Court and Balboa Avenue for the 5K. Pre-registration and on-site registration will be available. A grab & go breakfast and awards ceremony will follow.

What is the schedule?
The Fun Run race for 11 & under begins at 9 AM. Immediately following that race (around 9:15 AM) we will begin the 5K.

Strider Award: This award is given to the school with the most bibbed participants. First and Second place schools will be awarded!
